aBOUT THE COLLECTION

“Stories” is a collection of paintings inspired by the music and memories of my younger years. I created playlists of songs from memories, movies, phases of life, family gatherings, and vacations, from different stages of my life and painted out what that “feels like” to me. Songs from childhood, growing up, middle school, high school, college, and moments in between. The paintings are displayed below in chronological order from the earliest memories of my life to the latter. Listen in on the playlists as you view each piece for a more sensory experience. Coordinating playlists are noted on each piece.

PALETTES ON PAPER

These papers hold the original paint palettes for each piece in the collection. Colors were chosen specifically by the feelings evoked while listening to each playlist from each chapter of life, and the palettes gradually became more than just work surfaces. While the complete paintings hold the intentions, stories, and memories of each chapter of life, these palettes hold the energy and expression of the creation process. Palettes are also available in THE SHOP.

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS

These limited edition prints are hand-signed, numbered, and dated by the artist. Only a select number of each print is available.
